    KITA held ‘Job Fair Inviting IT-Contents Japanese Companies’


    -      32 companies in IT, game, broadcasting, animation, etc. visited Korea plan to hire some 150 employees - 


    The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Kim Young-joo) held ‘IT-Contents Job Fair Inviting Japanese Companies’ on October 15, at COEX, Samseong-dong in cooperation with the Korea Creative Content Agency.


    In order to diversify the industries for employment in Japan, the Korea International Trade Association invited content companies, such as games, broadcasting, and animation that are preferred by young job seekers, along with IT field. A total of 32 Japanese companies participated in the fair. 13 Japanese companies, including SB Cloud, SBJ Bank, and Wide Tech, will hire 105 employees for IT jobs, 9 companies such as SM Entertainment Japan, and Tone Plus will recruit 20 employees in contents area and 10 companies, including Kyoritsu Maintenance and Mami International will hire 30 employees for hotel, trade and management and sales jobs.


    Japanese companies who visited Korea for the event had plans to participate in ‘Gwangju Job Fair’ at Gwangju Chosun University and 'Korea-Japan IT Business Conference' at the Panyu Kins Tower on October 16.


    At the fair, a seminar was held ‘Job Fair by Inviting Japanese Universities’ for job seekers-to-be who want to work in Japan. Six Japanese universities, including Japan Electronics College, Tokyo Foreign Language College, Tokyo University of Technology, TOHO GAKUEN Institute, Bunka Fashion College, and Hattori Nutrition College, participated in the fair and delivered presentations on prospects of being employed in Japan in the various fields of animation, foreign language, interior, broadcasting, fashion and cooking.


    Kim Jung-soo, head of Member Support Department at KITA, said, As we invited many Japanese companies in promising fields such as IT and contents with high demand, we hope that it would bring good results to Korean young job seekers.
