    KITA-SBC Signed MOU to Support Exports of SMEs

     

    -     Provide one-stop supports to promote online and offline exports and make inroads into overseas -

     

    The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Kim Young-joo) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation signed a business agreement on 'Providing One-stop Support for Promotion of Small Companies’ Online and Offline Export and Overseas Expansion' at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong on November 27th.

      

       The signing ceremony was attended by some 20 people including Kim Young-joo, chairman of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Lee Sang-jik, president of the Small and medium Business Corporation (SBC).

     

     

    The two organizations agreed to actively cooperate to link major support projects such as start-up support and export marketing, link export infrastructures such as KMall24, an overseas online direct sales platform run by KITA, and GobixKorea, operated by SBC, jointly hold exhibitions, international conferences and educational programs, and form and operate an working consultative body for export for information exchange and business cooperation.

     

    Heo Duck-jin, head of the e-Biz services group at the Korea International Trade Association, said, The Korea International Trade Associations and the Small and Medium Business Corporation are leading the way in supporting small and medium-sized companies in the private and public sectors. We will create synergies in supporting overseas expansion of the small and medium-sized companies by linking their businesses in various fields such as start-up support, platform operation, online and offline marketing, and fostering export specialists.
