KITA Held ‘Seminar on Overseas Market Entry Utilizing

The Korea International Trade
Association (Chairman, Kim Young-joo) held ‘Seminar on Overseas Market Entry
Utilizing Online Marketing’ at Trade tower in
Samseong-dong on June 12th.
During the seminar, novice
export companies were introduced how to utilize customized online marketing
such as social media trends, search engine marketing, discovering buyers and
the ways to verify real buyers and brand and intellectual property rights
management strategies. The event was attended by some 200 officers from the
companies who are interested in B2B marketing.
Oh Un-joo, the national brand
marketer at EC 21, an export consulting company, stressed, "Target
marketing tailored for each product is important. It is required to analyze
popular social media such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram in each country
and the age and gender of the people who often use the social media.
Park Min-young, head of Online
Marketing Department at the Korea International Trade Association, said, “Although
online exports are steadily increasing, they are often limited to some
companies. We will continue to hold practical seminars to help more companies
exercise various online marketing techniques effectively.”
