The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman:
Christopher Koo) hosted ‘Untact Grand Sourcing Fair 2021’ for two days from
March 30th to 31st at COEX in Samsung-dong. The main events of the fair were online meetings with overseas buyers and those
between large specialized trading
companies and domestic companies, which took
place over two entire days. Additional
events included a seminar on successful export cases using online marketing
tools and strategies for online meetings.
The online business
meetings, co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as a part of
their large specialized trading companies & small-medium sized
manufacturers’ mutual development and export support project, were joined by
the Vietnamese subsidiary of Lotte Mart, during which it conducted meetings
with 50 Korean manufacturers. Merchandisers from Lotte Mart in Vietnam are
going to select outstanding companies based on those meetings and post
assessments, and they will hold an off-line promotional event in Vietnam in
June.
