Sweden, a representative Swedish trade department, co-hosted “Korea-Sweden
Business Summit” on December 18th at Signiel
Seoul in Songpa-gu.
The theme of the event was “Strategic Competitiveness
Using Innovations and AI,” and over 250 individuals from government agencies
and corporates such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors, SK Telecom, Kakao,
and NC Soft attended the event including Minister Sung Yoon-mo of MOTIE, Minister
Park Neung-hu of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Minister Park Young-sun of
the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Chairman Kim Young-ju of KITA. The
Swedish economic mission set a record size with approximately 100 members in it
including Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and individuals from over 60 Swedish
global corporates such as Ericson, Astrazeneca, ABB, SAAB, and Scania.
