KITA (Chairman: Jin-Sik Yoon) and Start2Group - a German start-up accelerator - signed an MOU* on Wednesday, 27 November at the Trade Tower in Gangnam-gu Seoul. The MOU primarily aims to support Korean and German start-ups to go global.

Vice Chairman Lee said, "A great synergy can be generated through more robust collaboration between Korean and German tech start-ups as the two countries have similar industry and trade structures". He added, "As Germany will be attening next year's NextRise as a country of honour, we will make full use of this opportunity through expanding global open innovation opportunities with an emphasis on innovative and create technologies from Korea and Germany".
